以前、“「奥」英語で？”で後半に、「わざわざ」の英語について少しふれました。
その時は、“そんな大変な目をしてまでわざわざ”でしたが、
今回は、“（もし、～だったら）わざわざしないでしょう。”です。
“would”を使っての表現です。

例文① 入場料が高かったら、（わざわざ）行かない（でしょう）。
If the admission fee is expensive, I would not go.
例文② 面白くないショーだったら、（わざわざ）私は見ない（でしょう）。
I wouldn’t watch the show if it’s boring.
例文③ 効き目がないんだったら、（わざわざ無理して）薬なんて飲まない（でしょう）。
If the medicine doesn’t work, I would not bother to take it.

“if” の節がなくても、would を使うと、「もし～だったら、もし、～だとしても」などの仮定が省略されていると考えましょう。
単にwillの過去形（時制の一致）は例外。

B: ” No, way! I would not go out with such a liar.
比較： ここで、wouldを使わず、”I don’t go out with such a liar.”とすると、
誰かにたけし君と付き合ってくれと頼まれた人みたいになってしまう。

A:「あんた！今、女の人みてたやろ！」
B:「見てないよ。（“もし”でも）見るわけないやろぅ。」
A: ” I saw you watching another girl!”
B: ” I didn’t! I wouldn’t!“

“I wouldn’t take the chance.”が使えるシチュエーション。
“take the chance””挑戦する”ことをやめる。
そんな価値がない駆引きをわざわざしない。という時。

B:「ん～。僕だったらやめるかなぁ。」
A: “I want to bake a cake today, but I think the temperature in the kitchen is too high for it.”

お店の材料は絶対に駆引きしてはいけません。
“大丈夫かなぁ?”と思う時点でそれは売り物ではなくなります。

“stale”=新鮮でない、古臭い、気の抜けた、（空気が）こもって汚れた
新鮮じゃないと「捨てる」だけに「ステール（stale)」
